These are stories, mostly true, that I have lived or heard from
good sources. Most of them gave me "Life Lessons" or were chances
to observe the natural world. I hope the funny ones are funny to
the reader. This is my second book . The first one, available on
Amazon as a paper back or E Book has a similar title. "A
Curmudgeon's True Tales of the Outdoors" Has been well received and
has a total of nine five star reviews. The same is happening for
the Nook. This book is different since there are untrue tales for
the reader to scoff or laugh at. Forgive me for trying to have a
little experimental fun. I have not tried a full fiction book yet,
and remember, I am Old.
The outdoors: A place of fun, fear, and mystery. In days gone by
Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett made their living in the outdoors.
Today, we try to capture some of the adventure and enjoyment by
hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, boating, playing and learning to
live outside; with humorous, eerie or scary results. If you have
always lived in the city and have never gone country for a while,
you don't know what you're missing. Join the author in anecdotes of
humor, scariness, and even some of stupidity on some participants
parts as he recalls and relates his and others stories. If you ever
did any of the above activities or are considering trying some of
them, you can learn some of the things to do and not do involved in
safely accomplishing your goals. I hope you enjoy the read
