En este libro se describe la cultura corporal en Mexico durante la sociedad prehispanica. Empezaremos hablando de los dioses que regian la practica ludica y el mono como metafora de estos. Luego, la concepcion que del movimiento tenian nuestros antepasados (nahui ollin) del cuerpo y sus caracteristicas, de su estetica y parafernalia, de como fueron vistos por los invasores, el gusto por la limpieza, sus practicas de "medicina deportiva," de como el cosmos y la educacion familiar e institucional influian para hacer del hombre y la mujer rostros y corazones dignos. En seguida, diremos respecto a la alimentacion, factor basico para un buen desempeno fisico. A continuacion referiremos algunos juegos recreativos, otras practicas ludicas (la magia, los juguetes, los silbatos, los titeres, la expresion corporal y la naturaleza hecha bosques y caprichosos jardines) y los deportes (natacion, buceo, canotaje, pesca, tiro al blanco, la caza, esgrima, corredores, juego de pelota).Y finalmente, el ritmo de la danza y las instituciones educativas que tenian como tarea ensenar y mantener viva, entre muchas otras cosas, la costumbre corporal del mundo precortesiano."
El presente libro es el resultado de una investigacion financiada por el Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia de Mexico (Conacyt), en el marco de la Convocatoria FOMIX-Veracruz 2005-11934, que surgio como una necesidad de buscar alternativas para la obtencion de proteina de buena calidad para uso acuicola, a partir de la utilizacion de Fauna de Acompanamiento de la pesqueria comercial del Camaron (FAC). En este documento, se indica de manera practica y sencilla como producir un ensilado biologico de alta calidad, mediante una fermentacion lactica y obtener un producto seco. Asi mismo, se muestran los resultados de los bioensayos en los que se sustituyo en diferentes concentraciones de harina del ensilado biologico por harina de pescado, en dietas para especies de interes acuicola comercial. Por lo que esperamos que este documento sea de utilidad para los interesados en la nutricion y alimentacion de especies acuicolas en un marco de sustentabilidad y cuidado ambiental."
