Born premature, blind and diagnosed at an early age as having a
form of autism. A boy was institutionalized and later was subjected
to an unauthorized test that was given to him by his doctor. The
doctor died and his condition was reassessed by his new doctor that
differed with the opinion of the boy's previous doctor and he began
taking on a new life that was different from the life he was
subjected to. At the age of twenty five he was released from the
institution and in his world, all things were new.
To complicate matters. He was wealthy and was the heir to his
family fortune so he didn't socialize until he walked into his
father's firm and announced he would be taking over operations, but
not without having difficulty.
Life came at him to fast and he grew weak from his encounters
and one day he decided to change his life and by doing so, he met
the person that helped him to conquer his troubles and through her,
he was able to be the person he wanted to be and not the person he
was. He never looked at himself the way he saw himself to be
again.
A young boy possessed with unnatural abilities runs away from his
troubles and is befriended by a hermit that lived in the mountains.
There he's reared into manhood and his troubles are forgotten until
one day, he finds himself alone. He was told that the only way to
find the truth in life was by returning back to the roads that he
ran away from. His troubles resurfaces everywhere he goes, but he
learns quickly that he can't run from his problems or avoid his
worst fear. "Man" Thus begins the exploits of the Prisoner of the
Highway.
A young boy loses his twin brother at the age of ten, and two years
later, he loses his mother to cancer. He overcomes a multitude of
mental disorders that developed from having a photographic memory,
and used his beliefs to be his guide in his life. He had problems
talking to people so he withdrew to a life of seclusion. A judge
intervened, and through the Judge, he met a Senator that recognized
his capabilities, and a rocky relationship followed for the rest of
their lives. Damage came to him when he saved a girl from death. He
didn't have skills in being able to talk to people, and he had to
fight a battle that he knew nothing about, it was a battle of love.
The problem he had was the girl that he saved was the Senator's
daughter that he knew, but she didn't know him. His life was kept
secret from her for a purpose. To complicate matters, he lived his
life of seclusion in the mountains and worked his thoughts out by
working on other projects that he had. The girl he saved was a
prisoner of the weather, he couldn't help her back to safety, and
he knew that him being around her would only cause her discomfort.
She was injured and she required attention, which meant that he had
to remain nearby. She didn't have anyone but the man that saved her
life, so she was at his mercy, and he was at hers. Neither one of
them expected what was to unfold.

A young boy was sent to live with his grandparents after the deaths
of his family and there he encounters hardships. Living in
isolation from people molded his personality into a man of
righteousness. Listening was his only form of communication. A
teacher asked her students to write a report about their summer but
he couldn't. She asked why and after he told her, she asked him to
write about what it was like coming to live with his grandparents.
Growing up in a southern community, he listened to all the stories
the elders told and began writing his words of wisdom down on a pad
he carried for that purpose. His southern roots dominated his
character and his backwoods democracy forged him into a man that
only lived by one rule and that one rule was that there weren't any
rules. The life he lived was a life where death was faced without
fear, living wasn't his concern. Through his ordeals he kept
collecting words of wisdom and used his encounters to become a
successful writer. No one knew him; he altered actuality and used a
pen name to protect himself from those that wanted to kill him. He
was an informer and he was about to find out that when he moved, he
moved into the very bottom of the pit of hell itself. This is the
story of Henry.
