Sweeney Todd
Based on a 'penny dreadful' tale (which later became an urban myth) from the mid-19th Century, this musical tells the tale of Benjamin Barker (Depp), a barber who returns to London after spending years in exile for a crime he didn't commit. He soon discovers from pie-maker Mrs Lovett (Bonham Carter) that, in his absence, his wife has taken her own life and his daughter is now in the care of the man who had him sent away - the dastardly Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman). Seeking revenge and filled with a murderous rage, Barker sets up a barber's shop above Mrs Lovett's premises. Now calling himself Sweeney Todd, Barker kills off all his customers with a razor to the throat and sends their cadavers to the shop below to be used as a tasty new filling for Mrs Lovett's meat pies. What was once the worst pie shop in London quickly becomes one of the city's most popular eateries, but Barker won't be satisfied until he can lure Judge Turpin into the barber's chair...

Set back in the late 1800s in a Victorian village, a man and woman by the names of Victor Van Dort and Victoria Everglot are betrothed because the Everglots need the money or else they'll be living on the streets and the Van Dorts want to be high in society. But when things go wrong at the wedding rehearsal, Victor goes into the woods to practice his vows. Just as soon as he gets them right, he finds himself married to Emily, the corpse bride. While Victoria waits on the other side, there's a rich newcomer that may take Victor's place. So two brides, one groom, who will Victor pick?

Cobra (1986)
Lt. Cobretti (Sylvester Stallone) is a one-man assault team whose laser-mount submachine gun and pearl-handled Colt .45 spit pure crime-stopping venom! Director George P. Cosmatos teams up again with Stallone for this thriller, pitting Cobretti against a merciless serial killer. The trail leads to not one murderer but also an army of psychos bent on slashing their way to a "New Order", and killing a witness (Brigitte Nielsen) along the way. Fortunately, her protector is Cobra, a man who delivers vigilante justice like no other!

Assassins (1995)
Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Banderas star as professional killers, for whom life is survival of the ruthless. And the only retirement is in a body bag. Robert Rath (Stallone) is the best in the business, but he wants out. New competition Miguel Bain (Banderas) aims to do the one thing that will clinch the job: murder Rath. And Rath must dodge an assassin's bullets while hunting his current target, a beautiful electronic surveillance expert (Julianne Moore), who may be his most dangerous assignment ever. Now, for Rath to stop killing--and live--he must do the one thing his instinct and training scream not to do--trust the enemy.

Tango and Cash (1989)
Ray Tango And Gabe Cash (Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell) are rival policemen with one thing in common: each thinks he is the best. Team them up and they're like oil and water. But frame them for a crime and they're like a match and kerosene. After being found guilty in court and sentenced to do time, the two stage a prison breakout that's a breathless rush of weapons and wisecracks - then roar after the shadowy crimelord who set them up. Tango & Cash are out to clear their names. Join them and feel the rush.

The Specialist (1994)
Sharon Stone is May Munro, a beauty with a fatal past. She's sworn death to the mobsters who murdered her parents. To do the job, she recruits ex-CIA explosives expert Ray Quick (Sylvester Stallone). Miami grows white-hot as May lures the killers and Ray detonates them into ashes. But a vicious mob boss (Rod Steiger), his brash son (Eric Roberts) and a psychotic hired gun (James Woods) with a lethal grudge against Quick won't go without a fight. The passion the two avengers share can't hide Ray's ominous question. Is May falling for him... or setting him up, too?

Demolition Man (1993)
The future isn't big enough for the both of them--the 21st century's most dangerous cop and the 21st century's most ruthless criminal. John Spartan (Sylvester Stallone) is a no-holds-barred 20th century cop who had been sentenced to cryoprison, a cop known in an earlier century as the Demolition Man. But when psychopathic killer Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes) escapes cryoprison during a mandatory parole hearing, only officer Lenina Huxley (Sandra Bullock) has a plan to stop a criminal rampage from causing havoc in her now-peaceful world: free the one man capable of stopping Phoenix - the Demolition Man himself. Now, two men from another time bring a level of nonstop action long unseen in this future, idyllic world.

'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (2005), based on the novel by Roald Dahl, follows eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) and Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore), a good-hearted boy from a poor family who lives in the shadow of Wonka's extraordinary factory. Most nights in the Bucket home, dinner is a watered-down bowl of cabbage soup, which young Charlie gladly shares with his mother (Helena Bonham Carter) and father (Noah Taylor) and both pairs of grandparents. They all live in a tiny, tumbledown, drafty old house but it is filled with love. Every night, the last thing Charlie sees from his window is the great factory, and he drifts off to sleep dreaming about what might be inside. For nearly 15 years, no one has seen a single worker going in or coming out of the factory, or caught a glimpse of Willy Wonka himself, yet, mysteriously, great quantities of chocolate are still being made and shipped to shops all over the world. One day Willy Wonka makes a momentous announcement. He will open his famous factory and reveal 'all of its secrets and magic' to five lucky children who find golden tickets hidden inside five randomly selected Wonka chocolate bars. When Charlie finds some money on the snowy street and takes it to the nearest store for a Wonka Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight he finds a golden ticket. The family decides that Grandpa Joe (David Kelly) should be the one to accompany Charlie on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Once inside, Charlie is dazzled by one amazing sight after another. In 'Mars Attacks!' (1996) Martians arrive on planet Earth and American President James Dale (Nicholson) is persuaded to extend the hand of friendship. Being novices at haunting, their efforts go unnoticed by the house's new inhabitants except for goth daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder), who doesn't mind one bit. At their wit's end, the ghostly couple call on a despicably disgusting demon named 'Beetlejuice' (Keaton) for help. The animated 'Corpse Bride' (2005), set in a 19th century European village, follows Victor (voiced by Depp), a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride (Bonham Carter), while his real bride, Victoria (Emily Watson), waits bereft in the land of the living. Though life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colourful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love. Musical 'Sweeney Todd - the Demon Barber of Fleet Street' (2007), based on a 'penny dreadful' tale (which later became an urban myth) from the mid-19th century, tells the tale of Benjamin Barker (Depp), a barber who returns to London after spending years in exile for a crime he didn't commit. Finally, 'Pee-wee's Big Adventure' (1985) follows man-child Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens) who goes on an adventure to recover his new bicycle after it is stolen. Stories have always had the power to move, but it has only recently become clear that purposeful stories - those created with a specific mission in mind - are essential in persuading others to support a vision or cause. For Peter Guber, what began as a knack for telling stories as one of the world's leading entertainment executives has evolved into a set of principles that anyone can use to achieve their goals - whatever you do in life, you need to be able to tell a good story. In Tell to Win Guber explains how to move beyond PowerpPoint slides and spreadsheets to create purposeful stories that can serve as powerful calls to action. He reveals the best way to get noticed, how to turn passive listeners into active participants, and how technology can be used to ensure audience commitment. Featuring wisdom from Guber's meetings with (and lessons from) everyone from Nelson Mandela to YouTube founder Chad Hurley, and Muhammed Ali to Steven Spielberg (who he tutored in making films), Tell to Win entertainingly shows how to craft, deliver and own a story that is capable of turning others into viral advocates for your goal.

Collection of five films starring Sylvester Stallone. In 'Assassins' (1995) professional hitman Rath (Stallone) decides it's time to call it a day, even though he is still the best around. But as he searches for a way out he discovers that he is now the target of another assassin, Bain (Antonio Banderas), who is determined to be the new number one. The two men are both sent on an assignment to kill intelligence operative Elektra (Julianne Moore). However, Rath decides to flee with Elektra and outwit Bain. In 'The Specialist' (1994) US demolition expert Ray Quick (Stallone) attempts to abort the assassination of a South American drugs baron when he realises innocent children will be killed in the explosion. However, his partner (James Woods) goes ahead with the mission, leaving the duo permanently estranged and Quick psychologically scarred. Years later, a beautiful woman (Sharon Stone) asks Quick to come out of retirement to kill a Cuban drug lord who has murdered her father. Quick initially refuses, but is soon drawn into a plot that brings him in contact with his ex-partner once again. In 'Tango and Cash' (1989) two mismatched cops, one sharp-suited (Stallone), the other a slob (Kurt Russell), are thrown together when they are framed by a big-shot gun-runner (Jack Palance). They are put in prison, duly escape, and then attempt to clear their names whilst trying to track down a massive haul of weapons before they get shipped abroad. In 'Demolition Man' (1993) LA cop John Spartan (Stallone), nicknamed 'Demolition Man' due to his hands-on approach to law enforcement, is condemned to 70 years in the penal freezer after being set up by Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes), Public Enemy Number One. Halfway through his sentence, however, both he and Phoenix are catapulted out of captivity, discovering their city has been transformed into a peaceful utopia, under the benevolent rule of mayor Dr Cocteau (Nigel Hawthorne). As a mysteriously pumped-up Phoenix carries on where he had left off 35 years earlier, Spartan teams up with a comparatively feisty cop (Sandra Bullock) to bring him to justice and expose the man who is engineering the whole scenario. In 'Cobra' (1986) a tough detective known as Cobra (Stallone), is assigned to protect a beautiful model (Brigitte Nielsen), the only witness to a series of brutal murders. It transpires that the killings are not the work of one lone psychopath but rather a highly organised army of neo-fascists.

Today everyone - whether they know it or not - is in the "emotional transportation" business. More and more, success is won by creating compelling stories that have the power to move partners, shareholders, customers, and employees to action. Simply put, if you can't tell it, you can't sell it. And this book tells you how to do both.
Historically, stories have always been igniters of action, moving people to do things. But only recently has it become clear that "purposeful "stories - those created with a specific mission in mind - are absolutely essential in persuading others to support a vision, dream or cause.
Peter Guber, whose executive and entrepreneurial accomplishments have made him a success in multiple" "industries, has long relied on "purposeful story telling" to motivate, win over, shape, engage and sell. Indeed, what began as knack for telling stories as an entertainment industry executive has, through years of perspiration and inspiration, evolved into a set of principles that anyone can use to achieve their goals.
In" Tell to Win, "Guber shows how to move beyond soulless Power Point slides, facts, and figures to create purposeful stories that can serve as powerful calls to action. Among his techniques:
*Capture your audience's attention first, fast and foremost
*Motivate your listeners by demonstrating authenticity
*Build your "tell" around "what's in it for them"
*Change passive listeners into active participants
*Use "state-of-the-heart" technology online and offline to make sure audience commitment remains strong
To validate the power of telling purposeful stories, Guber includes in this book a remarkably diverse number of "voices" - master tellers with whom he's shared experiences. They include YouTube founder Chad Hurley, NBA champion Pat Riley, clothing designer Normal Kamali, "Mission to Mars" scientist Gentry Lee, Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, former South African president Nelson Mandela, magician David Copperfield, film director Steven Spielberg, novelist Nora Roberts, rock legend Gene Simmons, and physician and author Deepak Chopra.
After listening to this extraordinary mix of voices, you'll know how to craft, deliver -- and own - a story that is truly compelling, one capable of turning others into viral advocates for your goal.
