The Japanese word, Ikigai means 'reason for being'. Think of what
you love, what you are good at, what you can be paid for, and what
the world needs. When these come together, you get your Ikigai.
However, Ikigai can be beyond these four components and doesn't
have to include any or all of them. The moments each day where you
live fully - engaging in a hobby or pursuit, learning, connecting
with people, being useful, choosing empathy over apathy, and being
in the present - and the small joys that inhabit those moments make
your Ikigai. You can have more than one Ikigai and it can change
with time. You already have your Ikigai and just need to discover
it!The book unveils the life journeys of 25 teens that left India
for the uncharted waters of Singapore in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Each story started with engineering and took the person to one's
calling - dance, filmmaking, entrepreneurship, mountaineering,
philanthropy, research, and even monkhood. Did they find their
Ikigai? Uncover the pages to find out!
The book presents innovative scientific research works by
academics, research scholars and students, presented at the 2017
International Conference on Energy, Materials and Information
Technology at Amity University Jharkhand, India. It includes
contributions on system solutions based on soft computing
techniques, and covers innovative soft computing techniques and
tools with advanced applications. A major focus of the book is on
presenting interdisciplinary problems and how they can be solved
using information technology, together with innovative connections
to other disciplines. It also includes papers on cloud computing
and WSN-related real-time research.

The book, "Lake and Groundwater: Phytoremedial Aspect" is an out
come of the direct field work done in Gorakhpur, a prominent city
of India. Being a tropical city, the district Gorakhpur is also
among the wet-land belts of India, locally called as Tarai Belt. As
a result the water table is higher and also the city is rich in
large water bodies. The field study consisted of the survey and
analysis of groundwater and the quality analysis of the water in
Rangarh lake, a prominent water body in the heart of the city. The
macrophytic diversity of the lake has also been evaluated. Finally,
the polluted water of the lake as well as that of the groundwater
was subjected to phytoremediation. The findings have been
documented by the means of thirteen chapters. The book is useful
tool for all the scientists, research scholars and the field
workers who are directly or indirectly involved in the field
research regarding the water pollution and its remediation and also
for those who are involved in the study of lentic system
biodiversity. The book is also recommended to be must for the
libraries of all the research organisations, Universities and the
NGOs involved in the subject.
The 21th century has been called century of biotechnology. It is
the field at the cutting edge of science. The exponential increase
in the quantity of scientific information and the rate, at which
new discoveries were made, requires very elaborate,
interdisciplinary and update information and their understanding.
DNA Sequencing and Gene Cloning - An introduction covers various
topics related with DNA sequencing and amplification in vivo and in
vitro, updated knowledge of types of DNA sequencing and their
applications. In Gene Cloning section it contain all aspects
related to it including how gene cloning is important and at which
step it is important in molecular project. This book also contains
some mathematical conversions which are important for a biology
lab. So that this book is very fruitful to all students who like to
get information about sequencing and DNA amplification in vitro and
in vivo environment.
The book features innovative scientific research by scientists,
academicians and students, presented at the International
Conference on Energy, Materials and Information Technology, 2017 at
Amity University Jharkhand, India. Covering all the promising
renewable energies and their related technologies, such as wind,
solar and biomass energy, it compiles current important scientific
research in this field and addresses how it can be applied in an
interdisciplinary manner. The selected conference papers provide
important data and parameters for utilizing the main potential
renewable energies, and allowing an economic and environmental
assessment. The book is a valuable resource for all those who are
interested in the physical and technical principles of promising
ways to utilize various renewable energies.
