Whoopi Goldberg double bill. In 'Sister Act', Deloris Van Cartier (Goldberg) is a lounge singer with aspirations to be a star, but instead becomes the star witness to a mob murder. She goes to the police, is put into the state witness protection scheme and sent to a nunnery run by a starchy Mother Superior (Maggie Smith). Whilst there Deloris tries to fit in, but finds that everything she does seems to annoy her fellow nuns - until she discovers the choir. In 'Sister Act 2 - Back in the Habit', Deloris is asked to resume the habit of a nun so that she can help raise funds for an ailing ghetto school. Deloris agrees to go undercover as the school's new music teacher.

His irreverent humour soon offends the top brass, in the form of Lt. Steven Hauk (Bruno Kirby), but Cronauer becomes a hit with the GIs. Though Tinker Bell might have played second fiddle to Peter Pan and Captain Hook in Disney's 1953 classic, the beloved fairy gets top billing--and a speaking role--with this animated adventure. In TINKER BELL, young audiences can journey to Pixie Hollow, the home of the fairies in Never Land. The spirited sprite is joined by a number of her magical friends: Iridessa the light fairy, Rosetta the garden fairy, Fawn the animal fairy, Silvermist the water fairy, and Clank and Bobbie the tinker fairies.
Fans of the Disney Princess series will find much to like in this offering that introduces characters that children can identify with. Like other Disney films, TINKER BELL boasts beautiful CG animation and a number of celebrity voices.
Anthony Hopkins plays the legendary director in this biopic that chronicles the personal and professional relationship between Hitchcock and his wife Alma Reville (Helen Mirren) during the making of his 1960 classic 'Psycho'. It's 1959 and, increasingly worried about his relevance, Hitchcock decides a change of direction is what is needed. He settles on adapting Robert Bloch's true crime novel 'Psycho', despite the protestations of both Alma and Paramount President Barney Balaban (Richard Portnow).
Having to mortgage their house to pay for the film, Alma's initial opposition soon gives way to support, as she dutifully throws herself fully behind the project. But as her husband begins to indulge himself in his trademark flights of fancy with a variety of blonde stars, Alma, whilst trying to keep the marriage on the rails, is determined that her own needs take centre stage.
