Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reprise their roles as Agents J and K in this third instalment of the sci-fi action comedy. Agent J (Smith) has long been every bit as perplexed by the perpetually-surly countenance of his older partner, Agent K (Jones), as he has been by the variety of aliens the pair are charged with keeping under control. However, when alien forces assassinate K with such extraterrestrial efficiency Agent J seems to be the only person to believe that K hasn't been dead for 40 years, the younger man is at a loss and determines to get his partner back. With the aid of a terrifying 'time jump', Agent J travels back to MIB's early years in the 1960s. Here he hooks up with a younger Agent K (Josh Brolin) and attempts to prevent his death and change the course of history. Will he also learn a thing or two about the secrets of the universe the older K kept so close to his chest?
Sequel to the successful sci-fi-cop, comedy-drama. Some four years after the Men in Black averted a major intergalactic disaster, K (Tommy Lee Jones) has returned to a civilian life, working as a postman and quite unaware of his former heroics alongside Agent J (Will Smith). But when J uncovers a secret alien plot organised by the seemingly seductive Serleena (Lara Flynn Boyle) he has to call on K again. Unfortunately K has no memory of his former role as 'Saver-of-the-World', but somewhere in his head is the expertise that can save the Earth, if only J can get him onside in time.
A double bill of alien chasing. In 'MIB', after chasing a fugitive with an advanced alien weapon, New York cop James Edwards (Will Smith) finds himself recruited to the MiB, a top secret agency in charge of alien immigration on Earth. He is partnered with K (Tommy Lee Jones), and sent to investigate an alien prediction of the end of the world. They have to track down a hostile alien life form currently wearing the human skin of a country hick named Edgar. Whilst in 'MIIB' it is some four years later and K (Lee Jones) has returned to a civilian life, working as a postman and quite unaware of his former heroics alongside Agent J (Smith). Join Hercules, the mortal with superhuman powers (and the son of Zeus) in Disney's 35th full length animated movie. In an attempt to prove himself in the eyes of his father, Hercules sets out on a series of adventures with Pegasus the flying horse and Phil his personal trainer. However, hot-headed Hades (voiced by James Woods) tries to scupper Hercules' plans and take over Mount Olympus. Hercules must then decide between his legendary strength and the love of his life, Meg.
A triple bill of sci-fi cops. The first film, 'Robocop', is set in the near future and Detroit's soaring crime rate is unsuccessfully policed by a corporation which plans to build a new city, if its workers can go about unmolested. When its new 'enforcement droid' proves unworkable, a murdered cop (Peter Weller) is wired into a computer-controlled titanium body and set to the task at hand. Unimpressed, 'Robocop' seeks vengeance on all sides in this violent but often funny tale. In the second film, 'Robocop 2', a new model, Robocop 2 (Tom Noonan), is built while Robocop 1 still patrols the streets of Detroit. Robocop 2 is given a maniac's 'soul', thereby setting the stage for a showdown between the two computer constables. Finally, in 'Robocop 3' Robocop is befriended by a young girl whose parents have been killed, and after his partner is killed by the head of a private security firm, he joins a group of rebels to fight back against the evil businessmen. There is a notable fight sequence between a plastic-like robot Ninja and the sluggish metal Robocop, which, together with the rebels hiding out in the derelict General Motors Factory, constitutes a thinly veiled critique of the Japanese car industry from the heart of Detroit - the original motor city.

Harold Stevens is twelve years old, heading hell-bent for thirteen, away from the comfort of his mother's care to the realities of the world beyond. Grandfather would gladly initiate him into the world's ways, but his lessons are more prattle than practical. Harold's older friends dare him into danger and expose him to new and not always edifying experiences. But his real mentor is C.K., the twenty-three-year-old black hired hand on his father's farm. Together they fish for the legendary catfish down at the local pond, dare bulls, pick gage from among the wild cactus, and carefully dry it and store it for future use. C.K. takes Harold with him when he run errands in town, and brings him into the mysterious black world beyond the railroad tracks. There Harold learns of C.K.'s big brother, "Big Nail" Emmet, doing time for murder, and of Big Nail's wife, Cora Lee. There is a fraying bond between the two brothers that Harold senses but cannot really fathom. Until one day the two brothers meet in a macabre, ritualistic dance of death. Sensitive, understated, Texas Summer evokes a time and place with the same sensitivity one finds in Hemingway's Nick Adams stories.
