In 'An American Girl in Paris (Part Une)', Carrie, left to her own devices on the streets of Paris while Aleksandr prepares for his exhibition, is missing her friends and her life back home. In the final episode, 'An American Girl in Paris (Part Deux)', Carrie returns to New York and her friends with Big after he tracks her down in Paris and they realise they are meant to be together.
