This book presents peer-reviewed articles from the 1st International Conference on Trends in Modern Physics (TiMP 2021) held at Assam Don Bosco University in Guwahati, India, between February 26 and 27, 2021. This conference was the 3rd in a series of annual conferences of the Department of Physics, ADBU, with the 1st and 2nd being national conferences. The conference was jointly organized by the Department of Physics, ADBU, and the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) to promote greater synergy between thematic areas of astrophysics and cosmology, plasma physics, material and nanophysics, nuclear physics, and particle physics

Creating awareness about representations is one of the objectives of the study. Before forming an opinion about the representation of print media in films it is important to know what those representations represent. Today there are online newspapers and it co-exists with the traditional print media. Thus the researcher has found it more important to study the portrayal of the print media in films in the context of today's time and space. The researcher is not trying to appeal that print media should be potrayed in a certain way. The research contains analysis of some films to study the representation. Researcher is not being judgemental about the representations but only investigating the depiction of print media, journalists and professions in films, as film is a different medium from print. The researcher, a student of Communication feels the necessity of this enquiry about the representation of the print media in the films and the way in which it has been represented.

Microscopic Superfluidity (Paperback): Samrat Dey Microscopic Superfluidity (Paperback)

The most outstanding development in modern science was the foundation of quantum mechanics. Nevertheless, it is well known that most of the quantum effects only appear in the nature on the atomic or subatomic scale. However, a superfluid (characterised by its unusual properties, such as, zero viscosity, infinitely high thermal conductivity, existence of quantum vortices, etc.) represents the effects of quantum behaviour of particles on the bulk properties of a matter and so, superfluidity is, rightly, termed as macroscopic quantum phenomenon. Recently, however, the high resolution spectroscopy of doped molecules in 4 DEGREESHe nanodroplets (number of 4 DEGREESHe atoms, N 10 DEGREES3 - 10 DEGREES4) and clusters (4 DEGREESHe-_N-M, M being the doped molecule and N = 1, 2, ...) provided a unique method to explore superfluidity in such a microscopic system (MICROSCOPIC SUPERFLUIDITY), also. Numerous studies on such high resolution spectroscopy have been reported. Yet, no theoretical approach could give a sound explanation of the experimental findings, so far. However, in this book, we have given an appropriate answer to these, based on Macro-Orbital theory and also provided explanation
