A young college graduate faces some difficult choices in this thriller set in the world of online gambling. When Ritchie (Justin Timberlake) is cheated out of the money he had earmarked for his tuition fees on an online poker game, he sets out for Costa Rica to confront the site's owner, ruthless gambling tycoon Ivan Block (Ben Affleck). It's not long, however, before Ritchie, seduced by the promise of untold wealth and status, is lured into becoming Ivan's protégé and right-hand man. But when the FBI, in the shape of hard-bitten agent Shavers (Anthony Mackie), pressures him into helping to bring Ivan's empire down, Ritchie finds himself between a rock and a hard place, forcing him to use all of his wits and cunning to stay alive.

Quentin Tarantino directs this Academy Award-winning western starring Jamie Foxx as a freed slave who sets out to rescue his wife from a merciless plantation owner. Django (Foxx), a slave with a violent past, earns the favour of bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Cristoph Waltz) when he helps him kill a trio of infamous murderers. Schultz frees Django and begins training him as a fully-fledged bounty hunter. The pair enjoy further success tackling some of the American South's most troublesome criminals, but Schultz gradually becomes aware that Django has motivations beyond earning a reward - Django has been searching for his wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington). When the duo discover that she is enslaved to the ruthless Calvin Caddie (Leonardo DiCaprio) they begin hatching a plan for her rescue. However, with Caddie's employees numbering the vigilant Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson) and mindful bodyguard Butch (James Remar), it may well be the pair's biggest challenge yet. Christoph Waltz won the Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for his supporting performance, while Tarantino won the Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for his original screenplay.

As the pandemic sweeps the globe, an international team of medics races against time to contain the mutating bug. Kate Hudson stars in this horror, set in New Orleans. Caroline (Hudson) is a care worker who moves in with terminally ill Ben (John Hurt) to look after him. Suspicious of his emotionally cold wife Violet (Gena Rowlands), and able to sense a strange atmosphere in the house, Caroline gets hold of a skeleton key that allows her access to the house's many locked rooms. In the attic she finds a room decked out with the grotesque remains of a voodoo ritual, although Violet claims not to have known of its existence. As Ben suffered his stroke shortly after discovering the room himself, Caroline is determined to find the secret to the sinister house, and its dark history as a centre of occult worship.
