He soon discovers from pie-maker Mrs Lovett (Bonham Carter) that, in his absence, his wife has taken her own life and his daughter is now in the care of the man who had him sent away - the dastardly Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman). Seeking revenge and filled with a murderous rage, Barker sets up a barber's shop above Mrs Lovett's premises. Now calling himself Sweeney Todd, Barker kills off all his customers with a razor to the throat and sends their cadavers to the shop below to be used as a tasty new filling for Mrs Lovett's meat pies. Returning to his former home at Collinwood Manor, he finds his estate in ruins and the dysfunctional dregs of his family in tatters. Matriarch Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer) has enlisted the services of live-in psychiatrist Dr Julia Hoffman (Helena Bonham Carter) to help with her numerous family problems - but between Elizabeth's loser brother, Roger Collins (Jonny Lee Miller), her rebellious teenage daughter, Carolyn Stoddard (ChloŽ Moretz), and Roger's precocious 10-year-old son, David Collins (Gulliver McGrath), Dr Hoffman has certainly got her work cut out.

'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (2005), based on the novel by Roald Dahl, follows eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) and Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore), a good-hearted boy from a poor family who lives in the shadow of Wonka's extraordinary factory. Most nights in the Bucket home, dinner is a watered-down bowl of cabbage soup, which young Charlie gladly shares with his mother (Helena Bonham Carter) and father (Noah Taylor) and both pairs of grandparents. They all live in a tiny, tumbledown, drafty old house but it is filled with love. Every night, the last thing Charlie sees from his window is the great factory, and he drifts off to sleep dreaming about what might be inside. For nearly 15 years, no one has seen a single worker going in or coming out of the factory, or caught a glimpse of Willy Wonka himself, yet, mysteriously, great quantities of chocolate are still being made and shipped to shops all over the world. One day Willy Wonka makes a momentous announcement. He will open his famous factory and reveal 'all of its secrets and magic' to five lucky children who find golden tickets hidden inside five randomly selected Wonka chocolate bars. When Charlie finds some money on the snowy street and takes it to the nearest store for a Wonka Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight he finds a golden ticket. The family decides that Grandpa Joe (David Kelly) should be the one to accompany Charlie on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Once inside, Charlie is dazzled by one amazing sight after another. At their wit's end, the ghostly couple call on a despicably disgusting demon named 'Beetlejuice' (Keaton) for help. The animated 'Corpse Bride' (2005), set in a 19th century European village, follows Victor (voiced by Depp), a young man who is whisked away to the underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride (Bonham Carter), while his real bride, Victoria (Emily Watson), waits bereft in the land of the living. Though life in the Land of the Dead proves to be a lot more colourful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or the next, that can keep him away from his one true love. Musical 'Sweeney Todd - the Demon Barber of Fleet Street' (2007), based on a 'penny dreadful' tale (which later became an urban myth) from the mid-19th century, tells the tale of Benjamin Barker (Depp), a barber who returns to London after spending years in exile for a crime he didn't commit. He Named Me Malala is an intimate portrait of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai, who was targeted by the Taliban and severely wounded by a gunshot when returning home on her school bus in Pakistan’s Swat Valley. The then 15-year-old was singled out, along with her father, for advocating for girls’ education, and the attack on her sparked an outcry from supporters around the world. She miraculously survived and is now a leading campaigner for girls’ education globally as co-founder of the Malala Fund.

Acclaimed documentary filmmaker Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth, Waiting for Superman) shows us how Malala, her father Zia and her family are committed to fighting for education for all girls worldwide. Collection of three children's comedies. In 'The Cat in the Hat' (2003), Mike Myers stars as the eponymous feline, who arrives at the home of Conrad and Sally Walden (Spencer Breslin and Dakota Fanning) when their mother (Kelly Preston) has gone out, having left strict instructions that the house must be spotless on her return. The cat proceeds to show the children how to have fun... In 'Mousehunt' (1997), when the brothers Smuntz (Nathan Lane and Lee Evans) inherit a valuable mansion, they immediately try to sell up and take the money. Trouble is, no one will buy it until they get rid of the house's one remaining occupant, a stubborn and tenacious little mouse. The mouse, however, has other ideas for them. In 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' (2004), after their parents are killed in a fire, the Baudelaire siblings, Violet (Emily Browning), Klaus (Liam Aiken) and the infant Sunny (Kara and Shelby Hoffman), are taken in by a succession of relatives and guardians, including kindly snake expert Uncle Monty (Billy Connolly) and their nervous Aunt Josephine (Meryl Streep). Worst of the lot though is the evil Count Olaf (Jim Carrey), obsessed with getting his hands on the Baudelaire children's inheritance...

Tim Burton's film version of the Stephen Sondheim musical starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. Based on a 'penny dreadful' tale (which later became an urban myth) from the mid-19th Century, this musical tells the tale of Benjamin Barker (Depp), a barber who returns to London after spending years in exile for a crime he didn't commit. What was once the worst pie shop in London quickly becomes one of the city's most popular eateries, but Barker won't be satisfied until he can lure Judge Turpin into the barber's chair...

David is adopted by Monica and Henry Swinton (Frances O'Connor and Sam Robards), a couple whose own biological child has been placed in cryogenic suspension awaiting a cure for a currently fatal medical condition. The Swintons seems to adapt well to the new child in their lives, but when their own son is cured and sent home, it jeopardises David's position in the family and he soon finds himself all alone on a dangerous adventure in the outside world.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reprise their roles as Agents J and K in this third instalment of the sci-fi action comedy. Agent J (Smith) has long been every bit as perplexed by the perpetually-surly countenance of his older partner, Agent K (Jones), as he has been by the variety of aliens the pair are charged with keeping under control. However, when alien forces assassinate K with such extraterrestrial efficiency Agent J seems to be the only person to believe that K hasn't been dead for 40 years, the younger man is at a loss and determines to get his partner back. With the aid of a terrifying 'time jump', Agent J travels back to MIB's early years in the 1960s. Here he hooks up with a younger Agent K (Josh Brolin) and attempts to prevent his death and change the course of history. Will he also learn a thing or two about the secrets of the universe the older K kept so close to his chest?
