A full-color story that will remind us of the importance of being

City of Lights, a little robin notices a cheerful, slanted-eyed
girl pedaling fast on her bicycle. Dressed in the colors of a robin
and running nimbly through the streets, she looks like a robin
itself. The seasons go by, and the girl takes refuge in her work
and follows her routine to a tee, sheltered by the comfort and
affection that her cat, Max, gives her. However, an unusual event
will truncate her life, and soon enough, the girl will discover
that she can no longer pedal backward, only forwards. Today is a
gift — it is all we have here and now. The present moment is
where life happens. Being present allows us to pay full attention,
observe, thank and open our eyes to all those little things that

que la vida nos ofrece.Un pequeño petirrojo sobrevuela la Ciudad
de la Luz cuando de pronto se fija en una muchacha alegre, de ojos
rasgados, que pedalea veloz en su bicicleta. Vestida con los
colores de un petirrojo y corriendo ágil entre las calles parece
un petirrojo. Las estaciones van pasando, y la muchacha se refugia
en su trabajo y su rutina, arropada por el consuelo y cariño que
le brinda su gato Max. Sin embargo, un hecho insólito truncará su
rutina y la muchacha descubrirá que ya no puede pedalear hacia
atrás, solo hacia delante. El dÃa de hoy es un regalo, es todo lo
que tenemos aquà y ahora. El momento presente es donde ocurre la
vida. Nos permite la atención plena, observar, agradecer y abrir
los ojos en el ahora, a todas esas pequeñas cosas que suceden en
nuestro presente.
