Claire Chennault a distinguished veteran pilot from WWI, who had
the ear of the president, was putting together a group of
mercenaries. They would come to be known as the Flying Tigers. The
book follows the exploits of two former Navy pilots and an OSS
operative in Rangoon, Burma. They Tigers were tasked with stopping
or slowing the Japanese onslaught seeking to take over the Asian
countries with natural resources like oil and rubber. Follow the
characters in aerial combat, flying the single seat Curtiss P-40.
Ride along inside the cockpit with the American Volunteer Group as
they learn the new aerial warfare tactics developed by Chennault.
