The Art of Ugly Covers 2021 (Calendar)

There was a time when 12 inches by 12 inches record covers were everywhere: This mixed art form of still life, snapshot and self-marketing was a key factor for whether a long-playing record flopped or became a top seller - and if it went really well, it could even become an icon. Classic images of the past include the covers for The Beatles album "St. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", the Sex Pistols disc "Never Mind the Bollocks" or the Nirvana classic "Nevermind". However, some covers today attract our attention for other reasons: Because they're ugly. So ugly that they're beautiful again! This calendar collects some of those ugly covers. These covers are the Adidas gloss suit and the moustache of the cover design. This first edition of the wall calendar shows 12 of the ugliest exhibits, the absolute low points of the design.
