The world system is about to face a time of correction. We know this both from scriptural revelation and the history of the world. Nation after nation that has forgotten God has fallen into times of correction and chastisement. We know that the law of sowing and reaping applies to men, cities, and nations. But we must address the faith of the believer who lives in a locality that has apostatized and turned against God. What are believers expected to endure? Can a believer exercise faith and receive protection from God during the times of chaos? Can believers expect to be protected from what is coming upon the land? First of all, we must accept and believe what is coming. Some think that to have faith for coming hard times means "do not worry because that is doubt." But in this context, this contradicts the concept of belief. If you knew beforehand that a dam was going to break and flood your town and you really believed it was coming, what would you do? Would you go home presuming that God was going save you, your family, and your loved ones from the onrushing torrent of water? Or would you act in accordance with your belief? Would you sound the alarm, gather up you family and loved ones, and head for higher ground? I think if you really believed death was heading toward you, the thing to do is the latter. You will have "corresponding actions" in line with what you believed. This edition has been enlarged by adding content. The font has been made smaller. March 2014 - added content.
