Special Friendships teach us that friendship comes in all colors,
shapes and sizes. Three stores are included. Sheldon, My Green Dog,
Sid. Part of the Good Things to Know Series. Friend Manual is part
of the Give a Child a Voice Series of books. We recently were
rocked to our knees as a community as we watched a tragedy unfold.
Hailey Owens a beautiful, happy, very much loved little 10 year old
girl was taken but not forgotten. This taught us many lessons. 1.
We never ever want to witness this happening again in any
community. 2. We will have to make changes. We saw the solution to
form the Springfield Guardians. A group dedicated to the safety and
wellbeing of all children. We knew we had to educate the children
for education is power. These books do just that. We also formed
guardians to keep a watchful eye over the children as we network
across the community. This is a grass roots effort for REAL change.
Accepting the responsibility each of us has to be a Voice for the
children, guardian and protecting the most valuable treasure a
community can have and that is the children. $1.00 from each book
sold will be donated to the Springfield Guardians for support and
