Blending ancient divination systems with modern positive psychology, this unique tarot deck is filled with energetic affirmations, powerful archetypes and inspiring guidance. Grounded in a divination system that dates back centuries, The Good Tarot has a psychic architecture that's more simple and modern, rooted in contemporary positive psychology. Its heart is in the expression of the highest good for all. The 78 cards in the deck are read as archetypal aspects of the human experience that we may encounter within ourselves, with others or in the world. The suits in The Good Tarot are the four elements, with Air standing in for the traditional Swords, Water replacing Cups, Earth for Pentacles, and for Wands, Fire. A crucial difference from traditional decks is that the cards' messages are all written as affirmations in the present tense, rather than forecasts, instructions or warnings. Instead of being told what to do, those who use the cards can integrate their energy immediately and personally. 'Everyone wants guidance during times of uncertainty, a light shining in the dark', Colette writes. 'The Good Tarot is especially helpful when you feel lost, want confirmation about a direction you're heading in, are concerned about the results of choices you've made or seek greater understanding of your circumstances. It's about recognizing the many forms of truth and seeing the light that accompanies the shadow so you can help the light increase its brilliance.'

I'm on the fence with this one...

I'm not sure about this deck. I purchased this deck a few months back because I'm a huge fan of Colette Baron-Reid's and she bringing out a Tarot deck...my eyes opened wide! However, when I received it, it wasn't what I expected. I guess I expected something more 'Tarot'... Decent box. Sturdy. Card great quality. Easy to shuffle. The artwork is beautiful. The messages however in the booklet are so incredibly short and me being a newbie to Tarot... I just didn't really resonate with this deck. I"ve read many other reviews and this deck isn't your typical Tarot deck...it just isn't what I expected it to be. What do they say about expectations... I've only used this deck once and will make use of it in the future when it calls me to do so. Until then, it's on my desk and I see it every day as I work on my laptop. So who knows what the future holds between me and this beauty.

An Excellent "Oracle" Deck

Fri, 3 Jul 2020 | Review by: Mickayla J.

When I ordered these cards I was under the impression that this would be an excellent tarot deck with beautiful artwork and what I got was a oracle deck pretending to be tarot. This is no means your traditional tarot deck the names of cards have been changed to soften the meanings of cards and the imagery associated with cards aswell. It takes time to get used to but I don't feel a click with these cards. I'm disappointed because the imagery is beautiful but tarot is about getting over obstacles not trying to pretend they're not there. If you're looking for a pretty oracle deck then this is the one for you.

Beautiful images

Mon, 12 Sep 2022 | Review by: Anet S.

The artwork is stunning. This is however not a deck for beginners as the images are meant to be read intuitively. One should have knowledge of RWS before attempting to read with this deck. That being said, the oracle styled images add value as they are not typically RWS. Instead, they, possess a deeper, more contemporary energy befitting modern times, which provides a different reading outcome. One will certainly not get bored with this deck!
