The ancient gods strived for war, Zeus manipulating the world of
the mortals, dictating the realm of man with his delicate touch.
But there is one who rules the dead; he is not to be trusted. All
is not what it seems in the glory of Olympus. The young Achilles
was filled with darkness, his body tainted by the evil that resided
in the world of the dead. His future decided by the gods long
before his lungs had taken their first breath of air. As a boy
Achilles was raised by Chiron and Phoenix, kept safe deep in the
mountains of Pelion. But when Trojan assassins came looking for the
boy it was time for Chiron to move his treasure to a safe place.
They departed for the small island of Skyros where Chiron could
complete the young boys training. It was from here that his metal
would be tested to its limit, his mind and body tortured as the
gods prepare him for glory.
