Although written for an American evangelical (baptist) readership, the insights Inserra presents regarding the unsaved Christian, the cultural Christian, are equally applicable to the South African context. As much as American churches are filled with cultural Christians, so too pews in South African churches (across denominations and church affiliations) are filled by people who associate themselves as Christian, but have not received and been transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Inserra does not only help the reader to identify such congregants, but also presents the reader with practical strategies for reaching such people and bring them to conversion and true faith. A worthwhile read. Clifford Cameron
