Federal Stimulus money is gone... States are nearly bankrupt... Taxpayers are tired of increasing taxes to support public education. Local school officials need to control school spending Many Options... Few Easy provides concrete ideas to meet your district's financial crisis. Dr. Ralph P. Kerr, a retired public school superintendent provides over 100 Immediate, Intermediate and Long Term options for school board members, school administrators, tax payers and community members to consider as part of their effort to control school spending. "The book is a valued resource for me." A current school board member. "Dr. Kerr has done an outstanding job of mixing the practical, pragmatic and the theoretical solutions, to common issues and questions facing the school administrator. This book is destined to become a mainstay reference in the libraries of all administrators..." A retired school superintendent. Dr. Ralph P. Kerr spent 30 years in public education, the final 18 years as the Superintendent of Schools in three diverse districts across New York State. Dr. Kerr annually faced the challenge of working with his Board of Education to develop a budget that would be supported by the community, even during a year when mid-year State Aid cuts were passed by the state legislature. Kerr earned a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Syracuse University, a Masters in Counseling and Bachelors in Business Education from the State University of New York at Brockport. Earlier in his career Dr. Kerr was a classroom teacher, counselor and building administrator. He currently serves as President of TLI Inc. in Houghton, NY. and as an adjunct faculty member at SUNY Brockport and Houghton College. Other books by Dr. Kerr include The Sin of Apathy, published by Xulon Press in 2009.
