It all started rather nonchalantly as one person after another entertained a group of us at a horse show with hysterical tales of days gone by. We held our sides, wiped tears from our eyes and thoroughly enjoyed laughing at those antics, some innocent and some mischievously planned. We forgot about the electricity bill that needed paying, the installment notes coming due and the rising cost of living. Instead, we laughed. There is a great value in a laugh. In fact, laughter is said to be better than any prescription drug for what ails you and the best medicine of all is the ability to laugh at one's self. It is good to laugh.
