The Skipping Stone, written by Kelly Lenihan and beautifully illustrated by Oona Risling-Sholl & Naomi Bardoff, is the delightful story of Nick, an ordinary little boy fervently yearning for something extraordinary to happen. One day, on a family outing, his dream comes true in a rather round about way. His wishful thinking finally pays off and he even ends up with a special memento to remind him of his extraordinary day.
