In this scholarly exposition of the book of Amos, Rabe echoes the
message of the prophets: a warning of judgment to come interspersed
with promises of hope for a better tomorrow. (Motivation)

Anyone who thinks about buying this book should know that this is a person convicted of 2 counts of incest! You can see the website at: http://app.mt.gov/conweb/ and enter his name, Kent Rabe. Rabe received a sentence of 60 years, with 30 years suspended in a plea bargain.
On behalf of the victims who have never heard an apology from Kent or his mother, Mary (his helper in publishing his various newsletters, books, etc.); we find it particularly offensive that ANY book by this author is even available to the christian community!
After remaining silent for almost 9 years about the particulars of his incarceration, we are ready to let the truth be known.
Presently Rabe is appealing the Montana Supreme Court for the right to access the internet while incarcerated! Two laptops with over 10,000 images of various forms of pornography (including child pornography) were confiscated at his arrest in May of 2000.
Please pray with us that this violent sexual offender remains behind bars for the full remainder of his sentence; and that he does so without access to the internet, where he would be able to further injur innocent children.
