Decent gaming mouse but stopped working in less than 2 years

I purchased this mouse in April 2018. Until about a month ago I had no complaints and would have rated it 5 stars. It is light and comfortable and has decent features for the price. About a month ago the right mouse button became faulty, requiring numerous clicks and a lot of additional pressure to register a click. This is obviously not good for gaming (good luck aiming down sights!). A search online seems to reveal that this is a problem with this mouse in general, so buyer beware.
