Written by Magdalena Klein, a young Holocaust survivor, this is a
bilingual volume of poetry, in the original Hungarian, and
translated into English and edited by her niece, Susan Simpson
Geroe. The poems represent a capsule of pre and post World War II
atmosphere in Hungary and Romania, the catastrophic situation of
its deported Jewish population, and the effects of that tragic
event.
