Detective Angus Tannahill just wanted a sausage biscuit and a sweet
tea when he stopped at his local Waffle House, but what he found
instead was a murder the likes of which the sleepy, southern town
of Mobile, Alabama had never seen. As the bodies continue to pile
up, he is approached by Lev Petrovski, a mysterious man who claims
to be the unimaginable, but may just hold the keys to catching
someone who is clearly no ordinary murderer. With the help of Lev's
adopted daughter and the spunky medical examiner, they work
together to stop the otherworldly menace. While following the clues
from coastal resort islands to ancient cemeteries, the detective
realizes one thing; his life just got a lot more complicated.......
