Worth and Niccola Caivano are more than husband and wife.
Long-married business-and sparring-partners, the Caivanos are
always looking for the next exciting business venture. When they
are invited to Cancun to meet up with Parker, a "Golden Boy" full
of promises, they are exposed to more than just a sweet business
deal.
While Worth, a financial and management expert, tends to
approach each new venture with enthusiasm, his attorney wife relies
on her intuition and skepticism to lead her decisions. After Parker
tells the couple about the huge potential in strife-torn areas of
West Africa, Niccola has some misgivings but is eventually lured
into an innovative but complicated housing and diamond deal along
with her husband. Things turn sour when one of the major investors
is found beaten to death with strategically placed blows in an
airport lounge and Worth, an Aikido novice, becomes a suspect.
From Houston to Tel Aviv, Africa, and Antwerp, the intrepid
couple must clear Worth's name and determine the actual killer-that
is, until they witness a second murder and discover that they have
been placed in serious danger.
