Der Autor beleuchtet die Geltung, Reichweite und Einhaltung des Bestimmtheitsgrundsatzes und des Schuldprinzips auf Tatbestandsebene des Kartellbussgeldrechts der EU. Er zeichnet die Entwicklung dieser quasi-strafrechtlichen Fundamentalgarantien nach, untersucht ihre Einhaltung in den Wettbewerbsvorschriften sowie durch die EU-Kommission und Unionsgerichte und zeigt Loesungswege auf. Er kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass Art. 101 Abs. 1 AEUV weder dem Wortlaut nach noch durch die Praxis hinreichend bestimmt sind. Verstoesse gegen das Schuldprinzip identifiziert er hinsichtlich Art. 101 Abs. 1 und Abs. 3 AEUV.
