Jane E. Hart lives in Michigan and is the daughter of the
award-winning poets Margaret and Lawrence Abbott. Hart has been an
author since the age of six, and her published works include a wide
range of writings from magazine articles to children's stories and
poetry. She is also the co-author of the college textbook on
writing "Improving College English" and has been a writing
instructor at various colleges and workshops. Today she is hard at
work finishing two full-length mystery novels. In "Why Mother
Teresa Is Going to Hell," Hart presents the reader with a
never-before-published collection of her fiction and poetry. She
hopes readers will enjoy the journey through fun, fantasy and even
a bit of the macabre. From the 12-04-11 review by Amos Lassen: "We
have poems about commonplace activities from shopping to
housecleaning and about being a grandmother and then there are
poems about death, life, and nature and Hart moves from the
realities of life to the emotions of the heart smoothly and
sublimely. We sense a mother's love for her children as well as her
sense for being who she is." (Entire review: http:
