What if God became real to you? What if He were there, ready to
talk to you, to answer even your most complex questions? How would
that change your life? These three books from Walsch offer the
opportunity to find out for yourself. The author experienced what
he believes was God speaking to him and tells of his amazement when
he discovered the truth behind seeming paradoxes, made possible by
this open communication. Each of these books draws the reader
through a phase of interaction with God and answers are said to
change your way of looking at life and the world. The fears that
these new concepts may bring are countered with insights designed
to give a reader wisdom, courage and the determination to stride on
regardless. In the third book the dialogue expands to include the
author's concepts of truth, joy, and love, all of which he believes
to be interchangeable. As Walsch puts it; 'The question is not to
whom do I talk, but who listens?' (Kirkus UK)
During the lowest point of his life, a man begins writing letters
to God to vent his frustrations - and unexpectedly receives answers
to his questions, written by his own hand. The bestselling
spiritual classic that has now sold millions of copies world-wide.
Neale Donald Walsch was experiencing the lowest point of his life -
from a devastating fire to the collapse of his marriage - when he
decided to write a letter to God to vent his frustrations. What he
did not expect was a response: as he finished his letter, he was
moved to continue writing, and out came extraordinary answers to
his questions. These answers - covering all aspects of human
existence, from happiness to money, to faith - helped Walsch to
change himself and his life for better, and the way he viewed other
beings. Walsch compiled all of these answers into a book,
Conversations with God, which was an instant bestseller on
publication in 1995, going straight into the New York Times
bestseller list and remaining there for more than 130 weeks. Over
twenty years later, it has sold millions of copies world-wide and
has changed the lives of countless people all around the world with
its profound answers about life, happiness, money, love and faith.
Conversations with God is a modern spiritual classic that remains
fresh and relevant in a world that needs its powerful messages
about who we are and our place in it more than ever.

Walsch wrote a letter to God, and apparently he received a response. However, did the one true, living God reveal really have a conversation with Walsch? Or did the God of Walsch's imagination converse with himself? I believe the latter is true.
What Walsch is presenting here is the god of the New Age, and not the biblical God. For example, on page 202 "God" says to Walsch: "Can you conceive of yourself as one day being a God?... You are already a God. You simply do not know it."
However, there is only one God who is our Creator(Is. 43:10ff; 1 Cor. 8:4-6). We are not Gods.
