The Two Roads is scripture based; it is taken from Matthew 7:13-14,
it's a story about a rich man and a poor women, although they are
very different, they are really the same, because they are longing
for something, they come across a divided road where they must
choose what path they will take. It tells us through believing that
Jesus died for us, through trials, tribulations, daily worshiping,
praying, fasting, faithfulness to God, and loving one another, we
will have eternal life. Self-righteousness, envy, strife, greed,
and through any self righteous act will lead us to destruction and
if we keep on this path, it will lead us to eternal destruction, so
remember there is always hope for you through your change. The Two
Roads also teaches worldly values and lessons. As human beings, we
tend to want things and through our wanting and longing for
something we tend to make hasty decisions, we don't stop to think,
we rush into things, and we don't want to work for what we want, we
expect it to be handed to us while we are sitting down. It is only
through hard work, dedication, and perseverance you shall reap the
fruits of your labor, so what you have to jump over some hurdles,
run a marathon, study hard, go through some ruff and depressing
times, in the end you will be rewarded. Also remember everything is
not what it appears to be Although someone may be rich, or married,
has a rewarding job, that doesn't mean their life is gravy for
them. Everyone else is going through some things just like you and
that goes for the whole world no one is exempt I pray that as you
read The Two Roads that you will soak it all in, and learn from the
poor woman and the rich man. I pray that you will apply it to your
lives and remember that through God anything and everything is
possible, put your faith and trust in him. Be Blessed
