Sandra Bullock stars in this cleverly-constructed drama in which she lives a week…but with the days all coming up in a completely random order! She’s Linda Hanson; happily married to Jim Hanson (Julian McMahon)…and together with their two young daughters Megan (Shayann McClure) and Bridgette (Courtney Taylor Burness), they live comfortably in a neat suburban house in a small town in Louisiana.
It is now Thursday…but already Linda knows of the impending disaster that’s going to happen next Wednesday! Though the next time she awakes, it is Saturday…and so on. Linda draws up a chart for the week in which she fills in the events as she has already come to know them – but there are still many blanks on the schedule. Will she somehow be able to prevent next Wednesday’s tragedy? Or, on gleaning this broken-order information, will she really want to? Is there anything going on between Jim and his newly-promoted blonde business colleague Claire (Amber Valletta)?
Thriller starring Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon. Linda Hanson
(Bullock) is an average housewife with a loving family, but when a
policeman comes knocking on her door with news that her husband,
Jim (McMahon), was involved in a fatal car accident, Linda's world
slowly begins to unravel. While her grief is at first overwhelming,
Linda assumes that the whole thing was nothing more than a vivid
dream when she wakes up the next morning to find her husband very
much alive. With each passing day, however, Linda's reality shifts
and her circumstances grow increasingly surreal; one day Jim is
dead and the next he is right there by her side. As her
investigation leaves her convinced that her husband's death wasn't
a dream and that her picture-perfect life may not have been quite
as flawless as she thought, Linda embarks on a mind-bending journey
to prevent her grim premonition from becoming a reality.
