The first part of the 2 book saga. You know, a few years back the pirates of Samalia were very much in the news, making headlines all around the world and it's good to know that the rest of the world acts on that to curb it. Now Mariani sure does his research and weaves his characters around the truth as it is out there. I like to read about this as it's a great way to learn facts albeit thru ficticious characters. I think he writes extremely well and his research is incredible - I'm also glad his hero wins in the end becos we need a hero. This world has dreadful things happening in it.
