Collection of three festive musicals.

In 'White Christmas' (1954), two army buddies (Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye) team up after the war and become a successful song-and-dance act. While on a skiing holiday the pair stage a benefit to save an inn run by their old commander, who is beset by financial difficulties resulting from a lack of snow.

In 'The Little Prince' (1974), when a pilot (Richard Kiley) is forced to land in the Sahara desert, he discovers a little prince from a distant planet. The boy tells him about his interplanetary journey, and all the important people he met along the way. But it's only on Earth that the Little Prince learns the true miracles of life from his new friend the pilot and the curious characters they encounter together.

Finally, in 'Scrooge' (1970), miserly Ebenezer Scrooge (Albert Finney) is so mean-spirited that he resents giving his clerk Bob Cratchit (David Collings) the day off for Christmas. At night, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his late partner Jacob Marley (Alec Guinness), who warns him that three spirits will visit him in an attempt to save his soul.

The first three Star Wars films reworked as creator George Lucas intended. Using state-of-the-art technology, Lucas and his team cleaned up the prints, updated the special effects and added new footage.

Originally released before 'Episode I - The Phantom Menace' (1999) the films have been renamed to fit in with Lucas's original vision. The story follows the adventures of a band of fearless rebels who try to take on the might of the awesome Empire, led by the evil Emperor and Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader (Dave Prowse). Throughout their quest, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) meet terrifying foes, new allies and bizarre creatures.

In 'Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope' (1977), on discovering a secret hidden inside a droid that his family have bought, young farmhand Luke Skywalker becomes involved in a battle between the forces of light and the evil Empire. Along the way he meets up with a Jedi Knight (Alec Guinness), a roguish space pilot, a beautiful princess and an evil tyrant.

In 'Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back' (1980), after the destruction of the Death Star, the rebels led by Luke and Leia are on the run from the vengeful Empire. Holed up on an inhospitable ice planet, they are soon discovered and must flee across the galaxy. Luke decides to visit an old Jedi Knight while Han and Leia become involved in a game of cat and mouse with Vader and a host of bounty hunters led by Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch). In 'Star Wars Episode VI - Return of the Jedi' (1983), with Han being held captive by Jabba the Hutt (voice of Larry Ward), his friends Luke, Leia, Lando (Billy Dee Williams), Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO plan a rescue mission. Then the intrepid group must make another assault on the new, more powerful Death Star and Luke must face his destiny in the shape of Darth Vader and the Emperor.

Collection of the first six films in George Lucas's popular 'Star Wars' franchise. In 'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace' (1999), Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) have embarked upon a diplomatic mission to the planet Naboo, intending to open discussions between the planet's leaders and the heads of the Trade Federation. But when they are ambushed by Federation robots, they quickly realise that the negotiations are merely a decoy for a hostile invasion organised by the evil Sith master. Joining forces with Jar Jar Binks (Ahmed Best) and the Naboo Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman), the Jedis manage to escape from Naboo and journey to the trade planet of Tatooine, where Qui-Gon meets a young slave boy named Anakin (Jake Lloyd), whom he identifies as a potentially powerful Jedi. In 'Star Wars Episodes II: Attack of the Clones' (2002), Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) disobeys the strictures of his Jedi training, embarking on a forbidden affair with Amidala while his teacher Obi-Wan Kenobi's investigation of assassination attempts against the Senator (Jimmy Smits) leads him to the distant planet of Kamino and into the middle of a separatist plot which brings the Galactic Republic to the very brink of civil war. In 'Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith' (2005), as the Clone Wars rage on, the rift between Chancellor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) and the Jedi Council widens with young Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker, caught in the middle, his allegiances torn. Seduced by promises of power and the temptations of the dark side, he pledges himself to the evil Sith Order, becoming Darth Vader. Together, the Sith Lords set in motion a plot of revenge against the Jedi, in attempt to destroy them all. Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi tries to turn his old Padawan learner back to the light side, leading to a climactic lightsaber battle that will shape the fate of the galaxy forever. In 'Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope' (1977), the first released film of the franchise, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), a farm boy from a desert planet who dreams of becoming a pilot, is drawn into a rebellion when his family buys two robots that the evil Empire are desperate to get their hands on. Collection of seven classic films. 'The Guns of Navarone' (1961), set in 1943, follows a group of mismatched soldiers who are sent to sabotage two powerful Nazi guns situated on a Greek island. If their mission fails, the guns will wipe out the 2,000 British soldiers who are attempting to evacuate civilians further down the coast. The mission is led by the dispassionate Captain Mallory (Gregory Peck) whose clinical approach does not find favour with explosives expert Corporal Miller (David Niven). Meanwhile, the group's Greek patriot guide Andrea Stavros (Anthony Quinn) is nursing a grudge against Mallory for an old injustice. 'The Bridge On the River Kwai' (1957), based on the novel by Pierre Boulle, sees a group of prisoners of war forced to build a bridge in Burma for the Japanese, with Colonel Nicholson (Alec Guinness) the appointed leader of the men. When the Japanese commander Colonel Saito (Sessue Hayakawa) orders the construction, Nicholson agrees on the basis that the project will keep his men occupied and give them an opportunity to prove, through the quality of their work, the superiority of British engineering. However, as the bridge progresses and the prisoners strive to show their craftsmanship, Nicholson appears to lose sight of the fact that the ultimate object of the bridge is to help the Japanese win the war. 'Lawrence of Arabia' (1962) is David Lean's Oscar-winning biopic starring Peter O'Toole as T.E. Lawrence, the Oxford-educated British army officer who aided the Arabs in their revolt against the Turks. Teaming up with Sherif Ali (Omar Sharif), Lawrence crosses an inhospitable desert in order to join two separate Arab tribes together as a single fighting force. Aiming to achieve Arab sovereignty, he wins a series of military victories but always keeps his eye on the larger picture, doing his best to prevent the subjection of the Arabs to British colonial rule. Charlton Heston stars in the title role of 'Major Dundee' (1965), an epic Western about a Major who joins forces with his sworn enemy to destroy a band of Apaches. When Major Amos Dundee is sent to a prisoner of war camp after making an error at the Battle of Gettysburg, he uses the opportunity to gather a small, but ruthless, army to lead on a mission of revenge. Burt Lancaster and Lee Marvin star in 'The Professionals' (1966), following four soldiers of fortune who are hired by a wealthy Texan oil baron (Ralph Bellamy) to rescue his kidnapped wife (Claudia Cardinale) who has been taken across the Mexican border by a band of mercenaries. The four men, each regarded as a specialist in his field - expert marksman and tracker Jake (Woody Strode), explosives master Dolworth (Lancaster), horse handler Ehrengard (Robert Ryan) and Fardan (Marvin) whose skills lie in tactics and weaponry - make their way across the treacherous landscape to retrieve the beautiful kidnappee, but along the way discover all is not what it seems. 'Gandhi' (1982), Richard Attenborough's Academy Award-winning epic, follows the extraordinary life of Mahatma Gandhi (Ben Kingsley) from his beginnings as a young Indian lawyer to his triumph as a revolutionary. After being thrown off a South African train just for being Indian, Gandhi realised just how prejudiced people were about his race and decided to do something about it. Taking the matter into his own hands, Gandhi arranges non-violent protests in the hope of getting the attention of the South African government. Finally, Fred Zinnemann's classic drama 'From Here to Eternity' (1953) follows the events of the night before the fateful attack on Pearl Harbor. Private Prewitt (Montgomery Clift) is a new recruit at the military base, and has already fallen foul of his superiors due to his refusal to box on the company team. Given the worst duties as a result, Prewitt is befriended by Angelo Maggio (Frank Sinatra), a young soldier who is himself persecuted by the Italian-hating Sergeant Fatso (Ernest Borgnine). Meanwhile, Sergeant Warden (Lancaster), Prewitt's superior, treads on dangerous ground when he allows himself to get caught up in an affair with an officer's wife (Deborah Kerr).

Collection of ten classic films from the award-winning British director. In 'The Sound Barrier' (1952), Ralph Richardson stars as an aircraft manufacturer whose all-consuming passion with making the ultimate supersonic jet kills both his son and son-in-law and almost destroys him and the rest of his family. In 'Hobson's Choice' (1953), Lancashire bootmaker Henry Horatio Hobson (Charles Laughton) keeps a tight rein on his three daughters until his eldest, Maggie (Brenda De Banzie), marries his assistant, Willie Mossop (John Mills), and sets him up in his own bootmaking firm. To Hobson's consternation, Willie has soon become his father-in-law's main business rival. In 'Blithe Spirit' (1945), cynical writer, Charles Condomine (Rex Harrison), asks a medium (Margaret Rutherford) to hold a seance in his house so he can collect material for his latest book. No one is more surprised than the medium when she inadvertently conjures up the ghost of Condomine's first wife (Kay Hammond). The ghost refuses to go away, preferring to taunt her less sophisticated replacement (Constance Cummings). In 'Brief Encounter' (1945), a respectable, happily married doctor (Trevor Howard) comes to the aid of an equally upstanding housewife (Celia Johnson) when a passing train blows cinder into her eye. Thus begins a tentative romance, conducted in the tearooms and railway cafe of a small English town. In 'Great Expectations' (1946), orphan, Pip (Anthony Wager), befriends an escaped convict before being elevated to higher circles as the companion of Miss Havisham and her niece, Estella (Jean Simmons), with whom the boy quickly falls in love. When the adult Pip (Mills) discovers a mysterious benefactor has paved the way for him to become a gentleman, he assumes Miss Havisham is responsible. In 'Oliver Twist' (1948), Oliver (John Howard Davis) is a young orphan boy who is expelled from the workhouse run by Mr Bumbel (Francis L. Sullivan). After becoming an apprentice to an undertaker, Oliver decides to run away to London, only to meet the Artful Dodger (Anthony Newley) and fall amongst his gang of thieves, led by the scheming Fagin (Alec Guinness). In 'Madeleine' (1949), Madeleine (Ann Todd) is the eldest daughter in a respectable Victorian Glasgow family. She begins an affair with Frenchman, Emile L'Anglier (Ivan Desny), without her father's knowledge. Meanwhile, Madeleine's father insists on her seeing various suitors. When Madeleine becomes engaged to William Minnoch (Norman Wooland), Emile threatens to reveal their relationship. 'The Passionate Friends' (1944) is an episodic tale of an average working class family in the interwar years. The story traces the melodrama caused by illicit affairs, family bereavement, the first ripples of women's liberation and political instability in the country during the General Strike. It highlights the fact that these internal wranglings are all happening in one house in an average street, and that each average house has its own dramatic stories to tell. Finally, 'In Which We Serve' (1942) is a World War II drama about a destroyer, told through flashbacks and the reminiscences of the surviving crew after their beloved ship is torpedoed.
