She would pause occasionally to add wood to the fire and warm her fingers. the air was cold, and she sat upon the frozen ground of Mother Earth. At times she would be lost in the flute music she played. Occasionally she paused in playing her music to converse with one of the spirits that arrived to join her, or listen to the Angels giving her guidance. In the distance she heard the calls of some ducks flying south...... Cathy kicked her feet trying to get to shore as the current carried her out towards the open ocean. She saw some land not too far away and she kicked with all her might to reach it.
