Metabolism diet is a diet with the major aim of enhancing metabolic
rate for a variety of purposes like health and weight loss.
Metabolism is the rate by which your body is able to digest all the
nutrients from the food you eat and convert calories into energy.
Starting a metabolism diet has several advantages and the first
advantage is that it greatly enhances your metabolic rate which
means that your body gets a more improved ability to absorb
nutrients and easily convert calories into energy instead of being
turned into fats and stored inside the body to gain weight. Second,
metabolism diet is a very effective solution to lose weight. Since
you will be exposed in a diet of metabolism-enhancing foods, it
means that there is no room for fats to be stored useless inside
the body and instead, they will be burned and make good use of
which results to weight loss.
Overeating is described as over-consumption of food to the point
that it is no longer helpful to the body. Overeating can be deemed
as normal as this usually occurs when there are occasions and
events where lots of food are served. However, overeating is no
longer normal if there are frequent episodes of this eating habit
already. This is because overeating can already lead to certain
eating disorders like binge eating disorder and bulimia which are
both dangerous for the health of an individual.
Hypothyroidism is a condition caused by failure of thyroid glands
in producing thyroxine and triiodothyronine, which are known as
thyroid hormones. This thyroid gland dysfunction is usually caused
by lack of iodine, which is the main mineral and nutrient that
contributes to increased thyroid hormone production. Hypothyroidism
is a condition characterized by several symptoms such as goiter,
brittle fingernails, weight gain, hair loss, dry and itchy skin,
sleepiness, joint pain, decreased libido especially in men and a
lot more. These symptoms can affect not only the physical
appearance of an individual but also his or her psychological,
emotional, cardiovascular, neurological aspects of life.
At one point in an individual's life, he or she may have
experienced overeating especially if they are hungry or if there is
an occasion and that can be deemed as a normal occurrence
especially if it doesn't happen all the time. But that is not the
case when an individual experiences Binge Eating Disorder or BED.
Binge Eating Disorder is an abnormal condition wherein an
individual overeats and can't help him or herself not to consume
large amounts of food. This is considered as an eating disorder as
it is no longer the normal way that a person should eat. In other
words, Binge Eating has already passed the limits of overeating.
