The Bible points out, firstly, that the Sabbath was God's exclusive sign between Him and the Nation of Israel. No other group, race or nation can make claim on the Sabbath unless they are Israelites or Jews. Secondly, the Sabbath is only a shadow of things to come. An object or a substance has cast that shadow and that Substance is the Person of Jesus Christ who invites one and all when He said, "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you REST."
