Die Arbeit befasst sich mit der Fragestellung, ob und unter welchen Voraussetzungen der zivilprozessuale Einwand anderweitiger Rechtshangigkeit auch im schiedsgerichtlichen Verfahren Anwendung findet. Den Schwerpunkt der Untersuchung bildet hierbei der schiedsinterne Kollisionsfall. Die Autorin erarbeitet die Thematik anhand von Verfahrenskonstellationen, in denen der Rechtshangigkeitseinwand relevant werden kann. Zu Vergleichszwecken erfolgen kurze Exkurse in auslandische Rechtsordnungen wie dem US-amerikanischen Schiedsrecht.
