Married to a successful film producer, Sophie finds herself on
location at a stately home in the English countryside, but all is
not well in her world. She is about to turn forty and is struggling
to come to terms with the incessant march of time. Insecurities
about her body have helped to create an increasingly painful
distance between her and her husband Michael, a distance made all
the more apparent by the obvious attraction felt towards him by the
movie's young and attractive starlet, Jodie Fox.
