Noor loves her mum, and all the other hijabi women in her family,
but wonders why do they wear headscarves? Is it so they can hide
snacks for later? Or because they're a super spy and hiding their
secret identity? Full of curiousity, Noor sets out to find her
answer, but her family are all busy and have no time to answer this
important question. Just as Noor is ready to give up on her quest,
her Ammu arrives home and knows just the thing to say. This
heart-warming yet funny tale is a celebration of Muslim women,
curious children, and family love.
This beautifully illustrated book introduces readers to Prophet
Muhammad's (pbuh) childhood and to those who helped raise the man
that would, by the will of Allah, lead an entire ummah and be an
example for all time. This book introduces readers to Prophet
Muhammad's (pbuh) very early life, his childhood and to those who
helped raise and shape the man that would lead an entire nation and
be an example for all time. The Beginnings of Prophet Muhammed
(pbuh) is a meaningful story written in a child's voice with a
young reader in mind. What differentiates this book from others are
the personalities it focuses on. In alternate books about the
Prophet, much isn't written about his mother who passed soon after
his birth nor about the women who raised him. Meet a handful of the
men and women that helped shape the early life of Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh). In these pages, you will find his mother, Amina bint Wahb;
the women that loved and protected him like their very own, Halimah
Sa'diyyah and Barakah (Umm Ayman); and his beloved grandfather Abd
al-Muttalib, alongside his uncle Abu Talib.
The research project was designed to isolate bacteria associated
with common spices. Spices are vegetable products or mixtures, free
from extraneous matter, used for flavouring, seasoning or imparting
aroma in foods. Many of the spices are used fresh without any form
of processing and any undesirable organisms associated with these
spices may pose threat to the consumers. Particularly under humid
tropical conditions where public health management is not so
efficient these organisms may be a matter of concern.
