This book presents the proceedings of the International Conference
on Computers Communications and Control 2020 (ICCCC2020), covering
topics such as theory for computing and communications, integrated
solutions in computer-based control, computational intelligence and
soft computing, decision-making and support systems. The ICCCC was
founded in Romania in 2006, and its eight editions have featured
respected keynote speakers and leading computer scientists from
around the globe.
This is a book about how management and control decisions are made
by persons who collaborate and possibly use the support of an
information system. The decision is the result of human conscious
activities aiming at choosing a course of action for attaining a
certain objective (or a set of objectives). The act of
collaboration implies that several entities who work together and
share responsibilities to jointly plan, implement and evaluate a
program of activities to achieve the common goals. The book is
intended to present a balanced view of the domain to include both
well-established concepts and a selection of new results in the
domains of methods and key technologies. It is meant to answer
several questions, such as: a) "How are evolving the business
models towards the ever more collaborative schemes?"; b) "What is
the role of the decision-maker in the new context?" c) "What are
the basic attributes and trends in the domain of
decision-supporting information systems?"; d) "Which are the basic
methods to aggregate the individual preferences?" e)"What is the
impact of modern information and communication technologies on the
design and usage of decision support systems for groups of
people?".

The book aims at presenting a multidisciplinary view meant to
illustrate several significant efforts and results about the
contribution of information technologies to make available new
resources and enable rationally usage the existing ones in the
context of the ever-growing trends to use ever more resources.
Authors from various countries have been invited to contribute so
that a rather broad and balanced image about the current trends and
recent results obtained could result. The proposed book addresses
methodologies and information technology-based tools and systems
designed for the efficient use of diverse resources such as
manpower and human knowledge, natural resources including water,
raw materials and end of life products, financial assets, datasets,
and even cultural goods. The book is organized in ten chapters. It
is intended to be insightful for researchers, instructors, and
planers from various domains. It can also be used as an auxiliary
material for postgraduate studies in applied informatics, business
administration, industrial engineering, engineering and management,
computer, and digital humanities.
The book contains 37 papers presented at the ninth edition of the
International Conference of Computers, Communications and
Control-ICCCC-2022 held in Oradea and Baile Felix, Romania. A
balanced selection of both methodological and application-oriented
papers has been made to reflect several recent worldwide trends and
results. The book is organized into five sections: a) integrated
solutions in computer-based control, b) advanced control systems
integrating computers and communications, c) soft computing
including fuzzy system approach, d) decision making and support
systems, and e) trustworthy and green design. The study of the
papers contained in the book is useful for researchers,
consultants, and postgraduate students in computer science and
design, applied informatics, control systems, and industrial
engineering. The book is also used as auxiliary material for
student-level courses such as artificial intelligence,
computational intelligence, and decision support systems.

This book includes high-quality research papers presented at 21st
International Conference on Informatics in Economy (IE 2022), which
is held in Bucharest, Romania, during May 2022. This book covers
research results in business informatics and related computer
science topics, such as IoT, mobile-embedded and multimedia
solutions, e-society, enterprise and business solutions, databases
and big data, artificial intelligence, data mining and machine
learning, quantitative economics.
