The Mirror Bible is a paraphrase translation from the original Greek text of the Bible.
The Mirror brings a fresh perspective to the table and while the detailed shades of every Greek word has been closely studied, it has been done with the person of Jesus Christ Himself and His finished work as the proper interpretative lens. Christ is the ultimate text and each page of The Mirror drips with grace as we discover our own identity restored in the very image of the invisible God.
The current edition includes select portions of the New Testament. The rest of the New Testament and portions of the Old Testament are planned to be completed at a future date.
The word theology means the Logic of God. God does not expect us to
respond in an unintelligent way to the greatest revelation of
knowledge and understanding that man could possibly perceive; nor
to remain in a haze of confusion concerning our origin, our
identity, our eternal destiny and our present standing before him.
He has made it possible for us to come into the same understanding,
to enjoy an equal appreciation of that which he himself enjoys.
True companionship only makes sense in an environment of mutual
compatibility. The mission of Jesus was not to add to the mystery
of Deity but to bring absolute clarity regarding the person of God
as the Father of the human race "If you have seen me, you have seen
the Father. Any idea that we could have had of God that is unlike
Jesus would not be true about God In Jesus the forgotten Father of
the human race introduces himself again as our only true Father.
Eph 4:5 There is only one faith Not what we believe about God but
what God believes about us Eph 4:6 There is only one God. He
remains the ultimate Father of the universe. We are because he is.
He is present in all; he is above all, through all, and in all.(He
is not far from each one of us; in him we live and move and have
our being. We are indeed his offspring. Acts 17:24-28])
Life sometimes seems to be like a mighty magnet, which compels one
almost in remote control fashion. Yet if karma has the final say,
why would it appear that some people are luckier than others? Our
own thoughts, words, choices, habits and attitudes continue to turn
and empower circumstances, events and people, which in turn touch
and shape our destiny. Yet we often find ourselves trapped in
confusion where life no longer seems to make any sense. I believe
that within the horizon of our hearts, the voice of our spirit
echoes truth. We are designed to explore and discover our inmost
self, the wealth of light and life within our reach. Even the sense
of hopelessness in a crisis would prompt us to dig deeper to find a
rock-solid foundation inside of us. I trust that this writing will
challenge and stir you to the core of your being and your beliefs
to remove every trace of the substitute, man-made self-image with
its glorious head of golden glitter and its silvery bust and bronze
body. The little stone that was cut out by no human hand is
destined to strike that image of vanity and piety on its feet of
iron and clay and become in its place a Rock that fills the whole
earth; the true image and likeness of God, restored and revealed in
ordinary human life. (Daniel 2:32-35) My sincere desire is that my
message will accurately unveil the mystery of Christ in its most
complete context: You Col 4:4 Mirror Bible
DIVINE EMBRACE Religion thrives on two lies: distance and delay.
Divine Embrace celebrates the initiative that God undertook to
cancel every possible definition of distance. Emmanuel is
introduced to a hostile humanity as the lover of their lives. Their
sins did not distract from his extravagant love. Our calendar
acknowledges the fact that 2000 years ago human history was divided
into a before and after Christ. While the vast expanse cannot even
begin to measure or define him, the invisible God of creation has
made his image and likeness known in the only possible space
wherein his being can be fully and accurately unveiled: human life.
The mission of Jesus was not to begin the Christian religion but to
reveal and redeem the image and likeness of God in human form. He
did not come as an example for us but of us. Much of popular
Christian doctrine reduce the life and teaching of Jesus to yet
another 'display-window' message, while the very intent of God was
to uncover the blueprint life of our design in Christ as in a
mirror, where he is introduced to us not as Christ in history, or
Christ in outer space, nor even as Christ in a future event, but as
Christ in you This alone completes your every expectation Col 1:27.
In John 14:20 Jesus announces the conclusion of his amazing
mission: his brilliant act of salvation was not to reserve a place
for a few in a distant heaven, but to redeem our oneness He boldly
declares, "I and the Father are one If you have seen me you have
seen the Father." Anything we thought that we knew about God that
is unlike Jesus is not God. "In that day (the day that you hear the
good news) you will know that I am in my Father and you in me and I
in you " He is closer to you than your next breath Now distance is
replaced with oneness. Oneness is not the end result of our
diligent striving or years of struggling to get closer to God;
oneness is the fruit of his labor and initiative and announces our
moment by moment point of departure in this life. Intimate romance
is ours now and for all eternity "He is not far from each one of us
" says Paul to a group of pagan worshipers in Athens. Acts
17:23-31. God is not more Emmanuel to some than what he is to
others In the light of the good news there can no longer remain an
'us and them' Nothing that you can ever do can make you more God's,
and nothing that God can ever do can make him more yours The
thought of you intrigues your Maker with delight Faith has nothing
to do with our ability to concentrate on God for at least five
uninterrupted minutes; faith is my glorious awakening to the fact
that my Maker is mindful of me He cannot get me out of his mind
Jesus is what God believes about you Jesus is God's mind made up
about the human race Awake to innocence, awake to oneness His words
are kisses; his kisses words. Everything about him delights me,
thrills me through and through Song of Songs 5:14,15 (The Message)
acerca de The Mirror / El Espejo: "Nunca he leido algo que me
The Mirror / El Espejo revela el
