I was used to a more "normal" environment so to speak. But let's be honest, is normal really any fun anymore? Can you laugh at normal? Write a book about it? No. I had decided early on I wanted to be involved in HR or training of some sort. Why I will never know. Something about the field has always drawn me in. Intrigued me so to speak, but for this job, thank God I minored in Psychology. The HR chicks clicked immediately. A mentor relationship was formed and work became a playground that they both actually enjoyed going to. Well let me rephrase, it became tolerable. She gave me the knowledge and know-how to be successful, and I gave her a new perspective and my wacky view on things to make the environment more enjoyable. Our stories in this book are crazy, yes.
