Alibriana Jones is off to visit her grandpa's clothing factory
located inside the largest oak tree in town. When she arrives she
can't find Grandpa Otto in his office. So Alibriana enlists the
help of PrimAnne Proper, the tree's elevator operator. The search
for grandpa is most entertaining as Alibriana and PrimAnne explore
each floor of the ten story clothing factory. Along the way, they
meet the workers who are making all sorts of unusual clothing. It's
a great adventure for kids learning to count to ten. Alibriana
visits the Branch Office will be enjoyed by both child and reader
alike. (Yes parents, you will be reading this book more than once.)
Alibriana Jones visits her Aunt Moosey, who works in the hat check
room at the local dance hall. Aunt Moosey asks Alibriana to take
over for her while she goes to the eyebrowologist to get her
eyebrows spruced up. While she is gone, the girl checks in some
unusual hats from some unusual people. Alibriana runs into problems
when the hats don't get along very well. This is a counting-to-ten
book that will be enjoyed by listener and reader alike. There is
always something new to see on each page every time the book is
re-read.
Alibriana and the Hickerpotamus is the story of Alibriana Jones and
her new friend. Alibriana acquires a hippopotamus while her parents
are at work. Living in a tenth floor apartment with a large animal
is no issue for Alibriana. Or is it? The hippo has an allergic
reaction to pizza and ends up hiccupping his way through ten floors
(literally). Along the way, Alibriana and the hippo meet the nicest
neighbors. This is a counting-to-ten book that would be most
enjoyed by children ages 2-7. It should also keep the reader
entertained with subtle humor exhibited throughout.
Alibriana Jones (It rhymes with Indiana Stones) is left in charge
of her Uncle Rudy's House of Beauty Barbershop/Salon. Uncle Rudy
has to take all of his mirrors, which are about to go out of
warranty, into the mirror repair shop. While he is gone, Alibriana
has a rush of customers arrive to have their hair repaired due to
the very windy day. It would only be natural for Alibriana to step
in for her Uncle Rudy. Or would it?
