Crime thriller set in Stalin-era Soviet Russia. In a state where crime isn't supposed to exist, pro-Stalin security officer Leo Demidov (Tom Hardy) begins to investigate a series of child murders. For his ignorance and betrayal of state policy, Leo finds himself demoted and exiled from the country he believed he was perfecting. Nevertheless, the persistent war hero pursues the case with only his wife Raisa (Noomi Rapace) for help. With his loyalty and beliefs shattered, Leo must try to find a killer who supposedly doesn't exist before his victim count rises further. But having been denounced, Leo may be in danger from a force far bigger than the free-roaming killer.
Jens Jonssonn directs the third instalment of this gritty Swedish crime thriller based on the novels by Jens Lapidus. Johan (Joel Kinnaman)'s exile does not last long as his determination to discover the fate of his missing sister takes him right to the heart of organised crime in Stockholm. Meanwhile, his friend Jorge (Matias Varela) is attempting the largest robbery in Swedish history which he says will also be his last. The third strand of the story follows Martin (Martin Wallström) as he goes undercover in the Serbian mafia to put its notorious boss behind bars. But with others after the crime boss and a recent failed assasination attempt will Martin be able to get to him first?
Babak Najafi directs the second instalment of this gritty Swedish crime thriller based on the novels by Jens Lapidus. After serving three years for drug trafficking in Norrtälje Prison, former cash-hungry business student Johan (Joel Kinnaman) is determined to get his life back on track. But that all changes with the arrival in prison of Mrado Slovovic (Dragomir Mrsic), a Serbian mafia member whose big time drug deal with Johan failed due to the involvement of Johan's friend and local coke dealer Jorge (Matias Varela). Now out on day-release, Johan's only chance of returning to a normal life rests in seeking out his former friend and forcing him to give back the mafia's money. Unfortunately for Johan, however, he's not the only one looking for Jorge.
