The two of them venture into the nest to exterminate the goblins, where they soon discover that this horde is being led by a kind of goblin more dangerous than any Goblin Slayer has seen before... Meanwhile, after Heavy Warrior collapses due to overwork, Young Warrior's party is sent to investigate the source of the recent frequent, disruptive earthquakes in his place, but the answer they find is something they never could have imagined...!!

In the course of learning his "craft," Goblin Slayer begins building a bit of a reputation for himself...but Goblin Slayer isn't the only one who has to find his place in the world. Cow Girl has her own questions about her role...

After protecting a village from a horde of goblins, a certain young man has been called "Goblin Slayer" for the first time. One day, while slaughtering yet another group of goblins, he finds a ring that glows with a mysterious light, which he has appraised by an eccentric magician who lives outside town known as Arc Mage. She, in turn, requests his help in compiling a bestiary for the Guild. He is put in charge of the section on-of course, goblins. With a single ring, and a single light, a brand-new story begins.

Three days after his sister's death, he finally regained the will to move. In the aftermath of a goblin raid, a lone boy mourns the loss of his village, his family... Five years later, that same boy visits a city on the frontier and becomes an adventurer. Despite being the lowest rank and wholly inexperienced, the young adventurer immediately accepts a quest and sets out alone to raid a goblin lair.
