Der Beweggrund fur dieses Thema hegt in den undurchsichtigen
Zustanden, die im Bereich Online-Werbung vorherrschen. Es gibt
keine verbindlichen Standards oder Definitionen, mit denen
Werbetreibende ihre Werbung planen oder den Erfolg kontrollieren
konnten. Dennoch muss man erkennen, dass Agenturen und Verbande in
Deutschland grosse Schritte machen 'in der Entwicklung solcher
Richtlinien. Diese Entwicklung hat der Verfasser mitverfolgt und
gibt mit dieser Arbeit einen Uberblick uber die wichtigsten
Themengebiete und deren Neuerungen. Gang der Untersuchung: Zunachst
werden Grundbegriffe aus Marketing und Werbung geklart, danut eine
Zuordnung der Online-Werbung stattfinden kann. Daran schliessen
sich Grundlagen der digitalen Kommunikation an. Der Verfasser
stellt die neuen Werbeformen, sowohl im Offline-Bereich, als auch
im Online-Bereich kurz vor. Das Gewicht hegt dabei auf dem
Internet, respektive dem multimedialen Bereich, dem World Wide Web,
da dies in erster Linie fur Werbung in Frage kommt. Im nachsten
Kapitel geht es dann um neue Werbeformen, Moglichkeiten, Grenzen
und Rahmenbedingungen der Werbung im Internet. Anschliessend geht
der Verfasser auf die Planung und Durchfuhrung einer Web-Prasenz
ein. Hierbei werden Themen wie Ziel und Gegenstand, Inhalte,
Gestaltung, Vermarktung, Kosten und Evaluierung der Online-Werbung
behandelt. Im letzten Kapitel wird ein Ausblick gegeben anhand von
Nutzer- und Umsatzzahlen des Internets, der Online-Dienste und des
Multimedia-Marktes. Im Anhang wird Online-Werbung anhand von
Screenshots aus der Automobilbranche vorgestellt.
