This companion to volume 9 begins with a celebration of the
fiftieth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar's conversion to Buddhism,
together with a rejoicing in his merits. Then we follow the
dramatic history of the Buddhist revival in India, beginning with a
commentary on Dr Ambedkar's article 'Buddha and the Future of His
Religion', which prompted Sangharakshita's initial contact with
him. Articles on the mass conversion in 1956 and Sangharakshita's
crucial visit to Nagpur at the time of Dr Ambedkar's death are
followed by the story of Sangharakshita's teachings among the new
Buddhists in 1959 to 61, together with notes from some of the
hundreds of talks he gave. Sangharakshita did not forget India
after returning to England in 1964, giving talks to raise awareness
of Dr Ambedkar, and in 1979 returning to perform the first
ordinations of the Indian wing of the Order, later the Triratna
Buddhist Order. In a sequence of talks (from 1979 to 1992) he tells
his Indian audiences about the Buddhist movement he has founded in
the West and his western audiences about the Indian sangha, thus
weaving together the two communities of new Buddhists. The volume
culminates in a commentary on the Pali canon's Udana, edited from
two much-loved seminars from the early days of the FWBO and
including new translations of the verses (udanas) by Dhivan Thomas
Jones. Inspiring us to imagine the time when Buddhism was so new it
didn't have a name, the text includes famous teachings - the taste
of salt, in the seen only the seen - and declares the first
question the Buddha was asked after his Enlightenment: who is the
true brahmin? The Buddha's answer, rejecting the caste system and
asserting the spiritual values to which he has awakened, takes us
to the heart of Dr Ambedkar's revival of Buddhism in India.

This book comprehensively explores the basic concepts and
applications of biomaterials in tissue engineering and regenerative
medicine. The book is divided into four sections; the first section
deals with the basic concepts and different types of biomaterials
used in tissue engineering. The second section discusses the
functional requirements and types of materials that are used in
developing state-of-the-art of scaffolds for tissue engineering
applications. The third section presents the applications of
biomaterials for hard and soft tissue engineering, as well as for
specialized tissue engineering. The last section addresses the
future prospects of nanobiomaterials, intelligent biomaterials, and
3D bioprinting biomaterials in tissue engineering and regenerative
medicine. It also discusses various in vitro disease models for
tissue bioengineering and regenerative medicine. As such, it offers
a valuable resource for students, researchers, scientists,
entrepreneurs, and medical/healthcare professionals.
Nagarjuna's poetic presentation of the fundamental teachings of the
Great Vehicle, or Mahayana, is remarkable for its concise style and
memorable imagery, making it one of the most widely quoted sources
in other commentaries on the Mahayana path.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 20th International
Conference on Conceptual Structures, ICCS 2013, held in Mumbai,
India, in January 2013. The 22 full papers presented were carefully
reviewed and selected from 43 submissions for inclusion in the
book. The volume also contains 3 invited talks. ICCS focuses on the
useful representation and analysis of conceptual knowledge with
research and business applications. It advances the theory and
practice in connecting the user's conceptual approach to problem
solving with the formal structures that computer applications need
to bring their productivity to bear. Conceptual structures (CS)
represent a family of approaches that builds on the successes of
artificial intelligence, business intelligence, computational
linguistics, conceptual modeling, information and Web technologies,
user modeling, and knowledge management.

Garfield translates Nagarjuna's Mulamadhyamakakarika and provides a philosophical commentary. Mulamadhyamakakarika is the foundational text for all Mahayana Buddhism and is one of the most influential works in the history of Indian philosophy.
Job stress is the most common psychological phenomena that is
prevalent among people who are in different jobs and professions.
The task is challenging and demanding, but the teachers represent a
mixed lot, with varied levels of skills, capabilities, resources,
etc. Teachers who are capability and good, generally respected and
appreciated, but instances are uncommon, when parents and students
alike so not give a hot to the teachers, and blame them for any
shortcomings observed in children/ school. The main intention of
the study is to find the relation of stress among the primary
school teachers with management, gender, locality, marital status,
size of the family, age, teaching experience, annual income,
qualification, caste and number of teachers in the school. The
present book is aimed to identify the influence of stress and socio
- demographic variables of primary school teachers. This book is
more useful to the teachers, administrators, parents and
researchers. I do not know to what extent I have succeeded in my
attempt, but I feel this book is more useful to all.
Graphics displays are gaining popularity in an increasing range of
control and user interface applications in markets such as home
automation, home appliance, medical and industrial. These kind of
displays enhance the user experience and provide detailed
information with sharper images. Additionally, graphics displays
enable technologies such as touch screen, leading to more effective
and efficient interfaces to the applications. In this work, touch
screen technology is being employed for controlling the speed and
direction of a DC Motor. ATMEGA32 Microcontroller takes the command
from the touch screen and the data is transferred to driver circuit
(L293D DC Motor Driving IC) and this data is converted to
electrical pulses and is fed to the DC Motor. Pulse width
modulation technique is employed for controlling the speed and
direction of the motor.
The purpose of the impact of pharmacist in the management of
coronary artery disease is to help students, teachers in healthcare
profession and practicing clinicians to develop and resolve the
problems in coronary artery disease(CAD). Patient education and
medication counseling are the base line knowledge requirement for
the management of disease like CAD and which are low among the
people.Patient counseling produced significant improvement in
patients knowledge, attitude and practice score regarding the
management of CAD and thereby better therapeutic out come. This
shows that counseling does very important role in CAD. A clinical
pharmacist can play a major role in improving patient knowledge and
by developing education materials like patient information
leaflets.
Value oriented education gives the virtuous inner motives and
actions and the inner consciousness from which more actions emerge
as outer actions. There are several actions which may apparently
seem to be good and right is the outer form, and yet, if there are
not spontaneous expressions of the right fidelity, they cease to
have any moral and spiritual values. Education should foster
universal and external values. In our culturally plural society
good education should be oriented towards the unity and integrity
of our people. The main intention of the study is to find the
relation of attitude towards value oriented education of
intermediate students with group of specific factors. In this study
different types of statistical techniques are used - Frequency
Distribution Characteristics, Critical Ratio and One Way ANOVA. The
present book is aimed to identify the influence of attitude towards
value oriented education of intermediate students with socio -
demographic variables. Data was collected from 300 students in
Kadapa district. This book is more useful to the students,
administrators, parents, counselors and researchers.
Teachers can offer a curriculum with plenty of opportunities for
creative behaviors. They can make assignments that call for
original work, independent learning, self-initiated projects, and
experimentation. Using curriculum materials that provide
progressive warm-up experiences, procedures that permit one thing
to lead to another, and activities that make creative thinking both
legitimate and rewarding makes it easier for teachers to provide
opportunities for creative learning. The main intention of the
study is to find the relation of scientific attitude of IX class
students with locality, sex, mother education, mother occupation,
residence, management, age, annual income, father education, father
occupation, academic achievement, size of the family, caste and
birth order. In this study different types of statistical
techniques are used - Frequency Distribution Characteristics,
Critical Ratio and One Way ANOVA. This book is more useful to the
teachers, administrators, parents and researchers. I do not know to
what extent I have succeeded in my attempt, but I feel this book is
more useful to all.
