Der Computer hat fur den Operations Research-Praktiker eine ahnliche Bedeutung wie das Auto fur den Taxichauffeur. Ohne dieses Hilfsmittel kann man wohl planen und vorbereiten, doch nie ein praktisches Resultat erzielen.
