Building on recent work on Victorian print culture and the turn
toward material historical research in modernist studies, this
collection extends the frontiers of scholarship on the "Atlantic
scene" of publishing, exploring new ways of grappling with the
rapidly changing universe of print at the turn of the twentieth
century.

For three decades, Nigeria missed its opportunities to use oil
wealth for economic transformation. Since 2003, there have been
remarkable efforts to reform economic policies across a wide range.
The challenge is enormous and the process of reform will need to
continue for many years. The design of policy reform must rest on a
firm basis of evidence and analysis. This book demonstrates that
there is already sufficient evidence on the Nigerian economy and
society to inform many policy issues. Under the auspices of the
Central Bank of Nigeria and the Centre for the Study of African
Economies, Oxford University, Nigerian and international scholars
have convened to deploy this evidence to reveal the current
problems and policy options that a democratic Nigeria will need to
debate and resolve. It presents an agenda of reform as unfinished
business.

In this, his second book, Vermont poet Joseph Collier's claims of
Divine Inspiration are put to the test. Does the God Jehovah,
through Collier's quill, really wish to share a kinder, gentler,
and more introspective side of Himself? Although Jehovah was
unavailable for comment, Collier said of their relationship: "He's
an okay guy mostly, but He also has some serious anger-management
issues that may complicate any possible future collaborations."
Whether inspired by Jehovah, or merely cheap muscatel, Collier's
mix of the serious and the zany will make you think, laugh, and
cry. Described by Emma Strahs' of the Burlington Free Press as
"beautiful" and "poignant," his works deal with many universal
themes of human existence.
Join him as he tries to answer the question: Is it God, or is it
Man? Will the world learn The Truth before it is too late? Can the
world handle The Truth?
